Your Questions, Answered

What does a wedding planner do?

  • Manages all aspects of the wedding planning process from start to finish or for specific parts (day-of coordination, partial planning, full planning).

  • Creates timelines, budgets, vendor selection and negotiation, design concepts, logistics, contract review, and on-site management on the day of the event.

  • Acts as the main point of contact for vendors and guests to ensure smooth execution.

What are the different levels of service?

  • Consultation/Hourly Planning: Advice and guidance for couples who want to do most of the work themselves.

  • Day-Of (or Month-Of) Coordination: Finalizes details in the weeks leading up to the wedding and coordinates vendors and timeline on the wedding day.

  • Partial Planning: Covers vendor selection and some design/logistics; planner manages the final months and the wedding day.

  • Full-Service Planning: Planner handles everything from budget and vendor hiring to design, timelines, and full execution.

When should we hire a planner?

  • Ideally, 9–12+ months before the wedding for full-service planning.

  • 3–6 months before for partial planning.

  • 4–8 weeks before for day-of coordination if you already have most vendors and details in place.

Can I customize a package to fit my budget?

Yes. After an initial consultation, we’ll tailor a service mix that aligns with your priorities while respecting your financial parameters.
